Getting started

1. Install the plugin

Download the latest Game Author plugin from the Fab Marketplace, or drop the zip into your project's Plugins/ folder and restart the editor.

2. Sign in via web

In Unreal, open Window → Game Author and click Login via web. Your default browser opens this site with a confirmation code; sign in (or register), verify the code matches, and click Approve.

3. Run your first tool

Back in Unreal, type take a screenshot of the current viewport in the chat. That's it — you're driving the editor with an LLM.
